Alina Sloan is a dynamic performer and versatile musical talent, celebrated for her warm stage presence and skill across bass, guitar, keys, and vocals. She has toured internationally, playing sold-out arenas with audiences exceeding 30,000, and is a highly sought-after collaborator within the indie rock and pop scenes.

In summer 2025, Sloan joined Halsey’s For My Last Trick tour as the bassist for acclaimed opener Sir Chloe, performing in amphitheaters and arenas across the United States. She is currently gearing up for a 36-city North American headline tour this fall in support of Sir Chloe’s newly released album, Swallow the Knife. In 2023, she embarked on a months-long run playing bass and synths for the artist Wallice, notably as support for The 1975’s At Their Very Best tour across Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

Sloan also contributed as a writer and arranger on Pom Pom Squad’s sophomore album Mirror Starts Moving Without Me, recorded at Electric Lady Studios and named as one of Rolling Stone’s “Best Albums of 2024.” That same year, she toured with artists Juliet Ivy and Sabrina Song, performing at major festivals in Singapore, England, and at NYC’s historic Forest Hills Stadium.

Originally from Arkansas, Sloan began playing electric guitar at age 8 and performed in jazz bands throughout high school. She moved to New York in 2017 to complete her degree at NYU— it was during this time that Sloan began formally studying bass under acclaimed Broadway bassist Yuka Tadano and became an active presence in the city's music community.

Her touring career began in 2022 with New York-based group Pom Pom Squad on their Death of a Cheerleader tour, playing bass for over 35 shows across North America and Europe. Since then, Sloan has toured extensively, supporting artists such as Halsey, The 1975, mxmtoon, JAWNY, and Carol Ades. She has also appeared on KEXP-Seattle’s “Live at KEXP” sessions and performed at major festivals including Primavera Sound, Kilby Block Party, and Head in the Clouds.

When not on the road, Sloan can be found playing and recording with a diverse roster of artists all over New York and working on her own musical projects.
